Nihil Interit is the community for writers, readers and performers of poetry in Finland. It was established in 1993 and one of its main goals include promoting poetry in all its forms. In addition Nihil Interit encourages and contributes to the conversation around poetry nationally and internationally.
The society is fulfilling this promise by enabling different types of encounters between poetry and its audiences: It publishes Tuli & Savu (Fire & Smoke) poetry magazine, maintains digital poetry website Nokturno, delivers yearly Nihil Interit Poetry Prize and organizes different kinds of poetry courses, reading circles and poetry events.
